299 Peso Ring

Joining the bandwagon. I've come to realize how my perspective shifted over time. In the past, a 299-peso ring might have given me a bad mood.

Years ago, I was disappointed with a diamond ring, not because of its cost but due to the size of the diamond. I secretly mocked the situation, I even told myself I'd get a bigger diamond ring, that became a butt of joke in my circle. Well, that relationship didn't last.

Skipping to 2012, my ex-boyfriend, now my husband proposed with a simple silver ring. Strangely, there was no mockery considering there was NO diamond.

Fast forward to today, I’ve realized that the true value is not in its diamond size; it's about the sentiment and acceptance it carries and in the commitment it represents.

My take on 299 engagement ring has evolved. While receiving a big diamond ring might have been awe-inspiring, my practical side now values quality moments and experiences over extravagance. I’d prefer using that money in food, investment or travels.

It’s not about the price tag but the emotions, the commitment, and the joy that comes with the ring. It's a reminder that love's worth is immeasurable and can't be confined to material values. True love’s brilliance outshines diamonds, illuminating the heart in ways no gemstone can.
